So, what is interoception?
It’s your body’s inner sense — the system that helps you notice hunger, thirst, a racing heart, tension, or calm. In other words, it’s how your brain answers: “How do I feel right now?”
Why it matters:
🧠 Emotional awareness — noticing body cues that shape your feelings
🍎 Self-care — knowing when you need to eat, rest, hydrate, or reset
🧘 Self-regulation — managing reactions by tuning into your signals
Interoception is the quiet sense that shapes how we feel, think, and respond every day, kinda like our internal guide to well-being.
