Last Friday 7 November, we had the privilege of engaging with the psychology students from Heriot-Watt University — future professionals who’ll one day help shape truly inclusive workplaces and communities.
This session was especially meaningful for our founder, Shahirah Abdol Raman who once walked these same halls as a student. Coming back to share the Neurons journey and spark conversations on neurodiversity felt like a true full circle moment.
Conversations like these remind us that awareness is only the beginning; it’s understanding, empathy, and action that turn inclusion into reality.
A special shout-out to Prof Glenn Hitchman Clarrie Ariel Sim Ida Lydia Intan Nahariah Yaacob Mohd Ridzuan Mat Zin for making this incredible event possible — and for bringing together such an inspiring turnout of students and faculty.
Here’s to building a generation that doesn’t just study neurodiversity, but lives it through compassion, design, and everyday leadership. 💙💜💚🩷
