Every story creates a pathway to inclusion.

Last Saturday 15 November, our team at Neurons spent time at Experience My Journey by SENIA Malaysia, hosted by Peggy Lam — a space that reminded us how powerful lived experiences are in shaping true understanding.

We had the honour of listening to Chai Jing Yun and Boon Eu Cheah who shared their journeys as neurodivergent adults with honesty and courage. Through their eyes, we were invited to see the daily realities, the invisible challenges, and the strength it takes to move through a world that isn’t always built with neurodivergent people in mind.

Their stories also grounded us in what inclusion really looks like:
🤝 Kindness
⏳ Patience
❓ Asking instead of assuming

They reminded us that when technology and awareness come together, they can open doors, making communication more accessible and environments more supportive. Sometimes, the smallest shifts create the biggest impact.

We left the session feeling grateful, reflective, and reaffirmed in our commitment to fostering neuro-inclusion in the communities we serve. Here’s to listening deeply, learning continuously, and building more bridges — one story at a time.
